Our story

About Trekkit

A gift can be more than something you keep. Trekkit is built around a simple idea: a mystery box that travels from friend to friend, collecting stories along the way.

Take one. Add one. Pass it on.

Each sturdy box begins with a small, locally made item. Its recipient takes an item, adds something of their own, and forwards the box to a friend. A QR code connects the box to its journey map, so each stop becomes another chapter.

Our launch ambition

We want the first journeys to reach all 50 states. We are building toward that goal one thoughtful handoff at a time—not claiming miles or milestones before they happen.

Keep the adventure moving

Choose safe contents, follow the box’s weight and shipping guidelines, and aim to pass it on within 14 days. A little care makes the next person’s surprise possible.
